Hee.hee.hee, the “Kansas Summer Shave” – I love it!! And he does look mighty ‘cool’ and rather dapper too :). The bandana is the best – I wish I could pull off a look like that ;-).

A shaved dog is second in sadness only to a wet dog. But hey, having had one of our dogs almost overheat, it’s a necessity! He still looks cute.

Oscar asked me to do a group thank you to all of you… he particularly enjoyed the “dapper” remark, which he had no idea what it meant, but the dogtionary helped him out 😉
Greg, the shave thing was more for the burr-magnet effect – every time Oscar went in the backyard he would come back with dozens of burrs attached to his beard, ears, side of the body. Some were so hard to remove, it certainly made him uncomfortable to lay there and let us remove them. He still gets quite a few, but the shave helped a lot.
