The man in the hat, il cappo Ron Corleone, gave a great talk yesterday at the university… he says hello and will be flying back to L.A. today…. We talked a lot about you guys since he arrived… miss you!
All three dogs have coordinating costumes, but only one sat still for the photo. He IS quite convincing, don’t you think? The cute thing stole a piece of smoked gouda from the table a few days ago, so we kept close surveillance on the Halloween’s goodies yesterday
We’ve had some great coordinated costumes in the past, but it’s been several years since we dressed up. One of our best, in my opinion was Olivia Newton John and John Travolta – we even did “the dance”, learning the moves by watching a youtube ad nauseum… 🙂
he, he, he… thankfully that was (I think) 1999 or around then. No cell phones with capability of making videos. But we did that in front of about 200 students of General Chemistry… not sure how I agreed to go along with that, but…. fun times! 😉 I have a photo of us somewhere, maybe next Halloween I’ll post it here
Love it!! You guys look fantastic and so does your home… from the decorations, to the warm colours on the walls to the doggie au naturel and the gorgeous dining room furniture… what a fun peek ;-). Well done Cleopatra!
Hi Sally, maybe you do not remember me and my blog, because I was not not publishing often in last months, but I remember you. I do not celebrate Halloween, as it is not very Polish (although, kids and teenagers celebrate it here) – but still I made a pumpkin monster for ma daughter and sweet pumpkin pie 🙂 kind regards magdalena
Of course I remember you! So glad to “see” you here! I have a subscription to your blog, but haven’t gotten any feeds, so I will check your site and see what you’ve been up to. I wonder if there’s something wrong with my settings for the email feed?
I love Halloween parties too! Too bad we didn’t have that many trick or treaters this year. Our neighborhood doesn’t have many kids… oh, well… we’ll bring the candy to the department and lots of grownups will have a blast! 😉
Hi Sally and crew,
Warm regards to the mystery man with the hat!
Thanks for the chuckles!
Best,
Deb

We certainly had fun, although I must say wigs are not easy to wear… they are too hot and itchy!

Thank you! Oscar was at his best behaviour when the photo was taken, but it did NOT last that long… 🙂

Thanks, Kristy! We had fun, just wish the party was not on a Wednesday when both of us had to be up as usual at 5:30am 😦
